How much are reservations to attend the auction?
Tickets are priced at $75 per person and include admission
to the event, drink tickets, food stations, Silent and
Live Auctions and a cash bar.
What kind of items are in the auction?
There truly is something for everyone -- household items,
sports memorabilia, event tickets, trips, wine, gift
certificates and much more.
Where and when is the auction 2012?
This
year's event, "Lucky 21," will take place
throughout the High School Activities Center with the
Live Auction held in the Gym on Saturday, March 3,
2012. Doors open at 6 p.m.
How many volunteers are needed to make a successful
auction?
Last year Divine Child's Auction utilized
over 500 volunteers ranging in tasks that take a couple
of hours to several months!
Where does the money go?
Auction earnings
go directly toward building improvements and technological
advancements. There is a growing gap in the actual cost
per student and the tuition paid. The Auction income
helps to keep your tuition costs lower!
How do I donate an item?
An Acquisition
Form is included in the newsletter sent out and are
also available in the Auction Office, located inside
Divine Child High School, 1001 N. Silvery Lane, Dearborn,
MI 48128. You may also access the form on this website
by clicking on the Donate link above or by clicking
here. We can also arrange
to pick up your item. Just give us a call at 313.562.1990,
ext. 223 or 224.
Are any items available online?
For the
past three years, Divine Child has conducted an exclusive
online auction at
www.biddingforgood.com/dcauction. You are able to
bid on items from the comfort of your home! The Online
Auction begins Sunday, November 20, 2012 at 8 a.m. and
closes on Monday, March 8, 2012 at 9 p.m.
Please remember ...
... that ALL correspondence
with the Auction Office must take place before the office
closes for the summer. The office is not able to answer
phone messages during summer months.
... to make arrangements for trips, dinners, etc.
within two to three weeks after the Auction.
... Gift certificates cannot be replaced if lost
and the expiration date cannot be extended.
